Welcome!

It has been wonderful welcoming so many new children into Early Years this week!

Nursery

Our older nursery children have been helping our new friends settle in – we have such kind and caring children here at All Saints’.

Nursery have enjoyed singing together and sharing our first story of the week: Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. This is a lovely story to remind us that, although we might miss our families, they always come back at the end of the day; just like Mummy Owl in the story.

It has been wonderful to have so much sunshine on our first week back!

Reception

Our Reception children have also settled into their new class very well!

We have been reading ‘Harry and the Dinosaurs  go to School’ by Ian Whybrow. Just like Harry, our Reception children have been familiarising themselves with their new classroom resources and routines.

They enjoyed sharing their family photographs and special toys with their new friends, to help us learn a little bit more about them.

RE

Our Early Years’ children have been learning how God knows us by name and how He loves each and every one of us. We read ‘Our Class is a Family’ by Shannon Olsen before looking at our staff board at the front of school to learn/remind us of everyone’s name in our school family here at All Saints’.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful first week at school/nursery.

Love Mrs Bryant, Miss Dawson, Mrs Walker & Mrs Troy.
